About the Test
The test was a two roll event; 4.8 degrees in test 1 and 10.1 degrees in test 2. In both tests, the adjustable lower neck load cell was set to 10 degrees forward of the nominal position. For the first roll at 4.8 degrees, a peak intrusion velocity of 5.7 mph was recorded at the top of the far side A-pillar. The peak upper neck compressive load was 5,158 N. The peak lower neck My was 279 N m. For the second roll at 10.1 degrees, a peak intrusion velocity of 7.1 mph was recorded at the top of the far side A-pillar. The peak upper neck compressive load was 5,394 N. The peak lower neck My was 318 N m.
